Ashen Host
From the ruin of the old world, a great host arose. Drawn from the broken, the damned, and the corrupted, they seek to finish what the Unraveling began. Clad in blackened steel, they bind elementals to their will and bring fire, terror, and annihilation to all who stand before them. The Ashen Host is led by the Apostate Tharavos and includes both a massive horde of warriors as well as former Shan’Del who now call themselves the Shattered Hand.
The Ashen Host makes its home in the Shattered Vale, a blighted land of ash-choked winds, blackened crags, and tortured earth. Born from the Unraveling’s fires and broken magics, it festers still beneath clouds of smoke and shadow. Here Tharavos rules from the Obsidian Sanctum, and from here the Ashen Host marches. Few who enter the Vale return, and those who do speak of a land where even death is no escape.
