Titles: The Rememberer, the Patient Hand, and the Keeper of Last Words
Symbol: A book and quill
Realm: The Eternal Library

Orrenthal is the god of knowledge, memory, and the preservation of what would be lost. His titles include the Rememberer, the Patient Hand, and the Keeper of Last Words. He is a quiet god honored by scribes, archivists, genealogists, and those who tend the records of the dead. His clergy hold that nothing which has been known is ever truly gone, only misplaced, and that the work of the faithful is to find it again and set it down.

His order, the Keepers of the Ledger, maintain libraries and record-houses in the towns of Korinth, copy failing texts, keep the family lines of the common folk, and sit with the dying to take down their final words.

Orrenthal admonishes his people to:

  • Set down what is known, for memory is frail and ink is patient
  • Preserve the last words of the dying
  • Let nothing be lost twice
