Sundering

When horrific and unknowable creatures known as the morguul plunged all of Korinth into a hell unlike it had ever known and sought to extend their reach into Elindra, Tristan Demonspawn barred their passage. To stop them, he sundered the world itself, causing a massive crack to snake its way around the globe. Tristan was consumed by the very power he unleashed in an uncharacteristic act of self-sacrifice. His sacrifice sparred Elindra the horrors of the morguul and allowed Benevolence the time needed to save Korinth.
