Skids

Skids is a broad-shouldered blacksmith whose life has been measured in hammer blows and tide shifts. With thick arms and a steady temperament, he plies his trade primarily for shipwrights and carpenters. His forge sits close enough to the docks to hear the gulls, and he keeps it running from dawn to dark without complaint. He is blunt, practical, and loyal—slow to judge, slower to abandon a friend. Skids is content and keeps his head down.
