Stonewake Ironworks

Owner: Skids

Stonewake Ironworks stands just off the main dock road where dirt gives way to packed gravel and coal dust. The front is open to the street, framed by thick timber posts blackened from years of smoke. A squat stone forge glows inside, its chimney stack rising through a patched slate roof. The air smells of hot iron, salt wind, and damp ash.

Inside, the space is tight but orderly. Iron spikes for hull reinforcement line one wall in bundled rows. Coils of chain hang from hooks. Nails sorted by size fill shallow bins. A heavy anvil sits anchored into a stump worn smooth at the edges. The floor is scarred plank and packed earth, scattered with scale flakes and charcoal grit.
